This game is designed with the aim of entertaining students while teaching them how to relate fractions to percentages.
In order to apply this game in a lesson, both fractions and percentages concepts should be covered. Students needs to know that they are just different expressions of the same number so that they can guess the percentage correspond.
In this activity, they are expected to show their estimation on a number line. Their previous objectives include converting a fraction into a decimal and then showing it on a number line. So, having already experienced this might be very useful for them to work with percentages and fractions on a number line.
