1. | Enter the equation into the Input Bar. The line will automatically be labeled f and displayed in the Graphics View.
Note: Make sure that the chosen Labeling option is All New Objects so you can see the labels of the objects in the Graphics View. You can set this in the Settings by selecting Global Settings on the right.

2. | Enter the function into the Input Bar. The quadratic function will automatically be displayed in the Graphics View. |
3. | Create a dynamic point A on g(x) by entering . A slider for n will be created automatically. The dynamic point A will be displayed in the Graphics View and can be moved by modifying the slider n.

4. | Open the Settings in the upper right corner.
Note: When working with the Online or Desktop App, select Settings again on the small dialog to get further settings. |
5. | Show the labels of the axes in the Graphics Settings.
Note: When working with the Online or Desktop App you can set the labels on tab xAxis and yAxis. In addition you can set to show the Axes as Bold and change the Label Style on tab Basics of the Graphics Settings. |
6. | Change the Grid Type to Major Gridlines in the Graphics Settings.
Note: In the Online or Desktop App switch to tab Grid and change the Grid Type to Major Gridlines. In addition you can set to show the Grid as Bold.

7. | Switch to the Algebra Settings and change the Algebra Descriptions to Value.
Note: In the Online or Desktop App select Sort by: Object Type to sort the objects in the Algebra View.

8. | Switch to the Global Settings and change the Font Size.

9. | Close the Settings and explore the changes.
