Ethnomathematics: Reflection in Jepara Carving
In the application of the concept of reflection, this occurs in the process of drawing a pattern on carving media (wood) so that the nature of reflection occurs in the results of the engraving. In the process of making a pattern image on the carving media, the engraver only needs to make a part of the pattern, then the engraver places the pattern on the right, bottom, or a certain position which will produce a complete carved motif.
