Nets
In Geometry a net is a two-dimensional pattern that represents the faces of a three-dimensional shape when laid out flat, meaning you can cut out the net and fold it to create the 3D shape; essentially, it's like seeing the "unfolded" version of a solid figure on a flat surface.
How many faces, edges, and vertices does a cube have? Use the Cube tool to make a pyramid then use the Net tool to identify its characteristics.

What geometric body would have a net like the one shown below? Try to imagine what it would look like if this 2D was folded into 3D. Make the solid in your 3D by clicking More in the tools bar then scrolling down to Solids. Try out different shapes if you are unsure, then make a Net.
