Bell Ringer
Please take this blank sheet of paper and follow the instructions.
Materials: Paper, pencil, ruler.
Directions: Using the definition of a point, place four points on your paper. Name each point.
Use your ruler to make two separate lines. Use the line naming rule to name each line.
In the upper left hand corner of this paper use the naming rules to write the two
line segments.
Using your ruler, measure each line segment.
Next, using the definition of a bisector, bisect each line. On each line, identify the point where
the original line is bisected. Mark each point with a new letter.
Using segment addition and naming rules, write a math equation for each line segment.
On the bottom of this page use naming rules to name your plane.
Now, it should be easy to answer this question. What three fundamental geometry
definitions were just used.
Solve the following
