Exploring Reflections in Parallel Lines
Click on each of the boxes separately, then together to learn how the letter F behaves when reflected in two parallel lines.
Click on the grid button to see the coordinate grid. Record the coordinates of Point D for the preimage, then the image after each reflection. The Mirror2 line is a little off, so round the x-coordinate down.
Describe one transformation that would transform the preimage to the image after two reflections.
Move the lines by moving the point on Mirror1. Does your description still apply?
Answer the remaining questions on the worksheet.
