What does Incenter mean?

Use what you know about angle bisectors to construct an incenter on the triangle below.

1) Find the distance from the incenter to AB. 2) Repeat this process for sides AC and BC. 3) What do you notice about each of the distances? 4) What does it mean if a point is equidistant from a given set of points?
Construct a circle from the incenter to one of the sides of triangle ABC. This circle is INscribed inside the triangle. Thus the name Incenter.
