Tool: Using a Number Line to Round
Practice rounding a number by locating it on a number line.
1. Enter the number you want to round in the purple box and press "enter" on your keyboard.
2. Select whether you are rounding to the nearest ten (10), hundred (100), thousand (1,000), ten thousand (10,000) or hundred thousand (100,000)
3. Select "Get the line set up".
4. Select "Locate"
5. Select "Zoom in on #"
6. Choose which endpoint your number is closest to. Record your answer.
