Constructing Perpendicular Lines Solution

Construct a perpendicular line through point A. Prove that the lines are perpendicular.
Perpendicular Lines from a Point Steps 1. Create Point A using the Toolbar Image tool 2. Create a line through point A using the Toolbar Imagetool 3. Create Point C on line A using the Toolbar Image tool 4. Create a Compass with the a radius of AC using the Toolbar Imagetool. 5. Label the new point D. 6. Create 2 equal compasses with a radius of CD with the Toolbar Image tool. 1 compass has a center at C and the other at D. 7. Name the points of intersection above and below the line E and F. 8. Create a point at the intersection of CD and EF. 9. Use the Toolbar Imagetool to show the measure of right angle to prove the lines perpendicular.
