Below, line p is the perpendicular bisector of the segment with endpoints C and D.
Note this segment is not shown below.
Place points A and B wherever you'd like. Then drag point D slowly around the circle.
What do you notice? Why does this occur? Describe.
Clear the trace (see button lower left corner) and move point C outside the circle. Then drag D slowly around the circle again. What do you notice? Why does this occur? Describe.
Clear the trace again. Now RIGHT CLICK on the perpendicular bisector (line p) and select SHOW TRACE. Then slowly drag point D around the circle again. What do you notice? Move C back inside the circle and drag point D around the circle again. What do you see?
