Parallelograms Investigation

Define

Read about parallelograms here. Describe what a parallelogram is.

Transform to a rectangle

By cutting a parallelogram, we can transform the shape into a rectangle. Transform these three parallelograms into rectangles. Type in the number of grid squares each parallelogram covers.

Visualize a transformation

These three parallelograms can't be cut up. Imagine you can cut along the dotted line and you can move the triangle to transform the parallelogram into a rectangle. Calculate the area of each parallelogram.
