Reference Angle
A reference angle is a POSITIVE ACUTE ANGLE (i.e. an angle that in the first quadrant) that describes the angular measurement a terminal ray is from the x-axis in quadrants II, III, and IV. Standard angles in those quadrants can be "referred" back to an angle in the first quadrant.
