Complex Functions -- Conjugates

Here, we consider a function dealing with the conjugate of a given complex number. Use the sliders or enter values for and . This will define the numbers and accordingly. (Notice that and are conjugates of one another!) Consider the following cases: 1) When neither nor are equal to zero 2) When one is zero and the other is not 3) When both a and b are zero How does this affect our traced function? (Pay attention to the orientation, too!) Using the input box for , play around with different functions with respect to and . How does the shape look in comparison to the original function? If time permits, adjust the sliders to allow for larger values and repeat the same investigations.
