Rigid Motions to Test Congruence Quiz - Retake

Instructions: (read all of them, they are ALL important) Use Rigid Motions (here in Geogebra) to demonstrate that two shapes are congruent OR NOT congruent. You will need to keep track of all your rigid motions (with ALL details). If you say a shape is congruent, you have to include descriptions of ALL transformations AND other reasons (that we covered in class) why the two shapes are congruent. If you say a shape is NOT congruent, you have to include accurate reasons why they two shapes can't be congruent. If you can't remember how a certain tool works in Geogebra, I have included videos at the bottom to help you. All assessments have to be completed by the end of class (no assessments will be accepted after class time)

Transformation Set - Number 1:

Apply rigid motions to move the first shape onto the 2nd shape. Then determine if the two shapes are congruent OR not congruent.

Are the following two shapes congruent?

Analysis 1 (Required Questions for Full marks)

Are the two shapes congruent OR not-congruent? Give justifications (listed in the instructions).
