7.4 Geogebra Task
- Construct a rhombus
- Remember a rhombus is a parallelogram with four equal sides
- Do NOT make the angles 90 degrees
- HINT: perhaps the easiest way is to rotate a segment
- If you use rotating a segment, keep in mind rotations occur counter-clockwise and you will want to use mutliples of 10 for your angles to avoid decimals
- Be sure your construction remains a rhombus even when dragged.
- LAST STEP: create the diagonals of your rhombus and measure their lengths and angles created at the vertices of the rhombus
- Answer the two questions below
Question 1
Is there a relationship among the four angles created by the intersection of the diagonals?
Question 2
What do the diagonals do to the angles of the rhombus?
