Chladnian sound figure

Chladni plate animation

A sound is made to vibrate a plate with sand scattered on it. Depending on the tone, the grains of sand will form a pattern. This line pattern is called Chladnian sound figure (after Ernst Chladni 1756 - 1827) With a and b you can set the oscillation ratio. 1: 1 is the tone C. 3: 2 the fifth is a G, 2: 1 the high C etc. Note: Sound only works in offline mode!
