Bibi Khanum mosque vault
The pattern on the vault above the entrance is constructed with three figures: W-shapes fill in the space between 4 crosses and a central square.
The three forms are filled with different texts:
- In the crosses is written subhan Allah (glory be to God).
- In the central square is written walhamdu lillah (praise be to God)
- In de W-vormen staat de tekst walailaha illa Allah wallahu akbar (praise be to God, there is no God but Allah)
