Step 3: Students Join Class

When you create a GeoGebra Class, a randomly generated code appears. Your students will need this code to enter your class. Described below are two quick ways students can easily enter your Class.

Method 1: Every student enters a code to join.

  1. Go to https://www.geogebra.org/classroom. Students can quickly access this URL from GeoGebra's home page by clicking the Classroom button on the left side.
  2. Enter the class code displayed on your GeoGebra Class page.
  3. Enter his/her name.
Students are now in your Class!

Method 2: Teacher gives students a direct link to join.

  You can easily provide each student with a direct link to join your Class. With this option, students won't have to enter a class code.
  1. Click on the SHARE icon in the upper right corner of your GeoGebra Class page. This share icon will display the class code.
  2. Copy the direct link to your GeoGebra Class.
  3. Share this direct link with your students.
  4. Ask students to enter their names or login with their GeoGebra Account.
  5. Alternatively you can give the link below the title to your students.
Students are now in your Class! Note: If students log in with their GeoGebra Account, the class itself and the results are saved with the user. The last saved status of the class can be accessed by the student later on again. All saved classes of the student are displayed on the student's profile page.
