Truchet Quilt
I saw this quilt and was amazed at all the different structures you could see in it with such a simple building block, squares with diagonal stripes.
The color control was a new idea for me, choosing a band on the hue spectrum. The function is how much the initial square is going to be rotated at position (x,y). (It should be a function from integers to integers.)
