Chapter 9 Exercises
-Determine the radius of central circle A, knowing that AB = 5x-1 and AC = 2x +2
-Determine the value of x, knowing that O is the center, g is perpendicular to AB, BC = 2x +5 and AC =4x-13.
-Determine the value of x, knowing that and are tangent to the circumference, PB= 3x-15 and PA=2x-10.
(Dolce & Pompeu)- The distance between the centers of two outer tangent circumferences is 33 cm. Determine your diameters, knowing what the ratio measure of your radii is. .
(Dolce & Pompeu)- The internal distance between the centers of two tangent circles is 5 cm. If the sum of the radii is 11 cm, determine the length for each radii.
(UnB–adaptada) – From a point A, outside a circumference, two tangent lines are drawn, as shown in the following figure, the tangent segments AE and AF, which are necessarily congruent, and measure each one 23.5 cm. At one of the extreme arcs F and E, a point G is randomly chosen by drawing the segment HI, tangent to the circumference in G. Determine the perimeter of the triangle AHI.
