Find the max and mins of the functions below. There are more than one ways to do this!

Turn off f(x) by clicking the green circle and "turn on" h(x) by licking the circle next to it. Then move the slider "a" and observe what happens. How does changing a change the local max and mins?
Now do the same comparison with g(x) and l(x). What does not change when moving the slider for "a"?
