Hypothesis testing using the binomial distribution (2.05a)
Set up the hypothesis test by choosing the value of n for the binomial distribution, the hypothesised value of p, the form of the alternative hypothesis and the significance level.
X represents the number of 'successes' when the test is carried out. Drag the point along the axis to change the value of X and see the probability of this result or a more extreme one. Click the checkbox to see the result of the hypothesis test for a particular value of X.
