Limits
In English, reaching our limit is typically a bad thing. In math though, the limit is an extremely useful concept. The derivative is based on a limit where h approaches zero to determine the slope of the tangent line. The integral involves a limit. The limit of as approaches is useful information for many functions.
James 4:8 says "Come near to God and he will come near to you." God wants to be near to us, but He does allow us the opportunity to make the first step of coming near to Him. As we draw near to God, He can give us a clearer purpose to help us know the direction our life can go with Him in our life.
The figure below is an Interactive Figure that I first developed while contributing to Thomas' Calculus by Pearson Publishing (see Features given at https://www.pearsonhighered.com/program/Hass-Thomas-Calculus-plus-My-Math-Lab-with-Pearson-e-Text-Access-Card-package-14th-Edition/PGM1248191.html to learn more about the Interactive Figures).
I also wrote a song about limits and have placed it on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLMEXKJC5Fg
