- Multiplying and dividing from left to right
- Summation and subtraction from left to right
Formulas for fractions
Summation of Fractions:
- Fractions of unequal denominators must be expanded to create a common denominators.
- The resultant numerator will be addition / subtraction of numerators.
- The denominator will be the common denominator:
- The numerator of the result is the product of the numerators.
- The denominator of the result is the product of the denominators.
- Multiplicand (second fraction) is inverted.
- Thereafter, fractions are multiplied.
