Angle Bisector Construction

Understanding an ANGLE BISECTOR. The definition is a ray that divides an angle into 2 equal angles. Use the angle bisector tool to visualize where the angle bisector is. (After selecting the tool, click on point A, then B, then C.) Drag A and/or C to see the impact on the angle bisector.
Construct the angle bisector using the same steps from your notes in class. When using the compass tool:
  • You must click on two points to set the measurement of your compass.
  • Then click on where you want the compass centered.
  • YOU WILL NEED TO ADD A POINTS where the compass intersects other figures.
Drag A and/or C to see the impact on the angle bisector.
