Horse race (subtraction)
Random experiments. Introduction to probability
In this applet we can practice and observe the relationship between statistics and probability. Two dice are rolled, and the SUBTRACTION of both is recorded. The horse corresponding to said sum advances. Looking at the table we already realize that not all results have the same possibilities and therefore the race is not equal-
You can practice several times and check the results.
Activity proposal
1. Before starting to play, look at the table and try to deduce which are the most likely winners
2. Start the experimet and observe the frequencies of each of the results. Is there a result that hasn't come out yet? Has any result come out more than once?
3. Play several games and write down the winners, you can create a table with the number of times each one wins and compare it with the location of the table of possible results
