Parallel Line Construction

Understanding PARALLEL LINES. The definition is two coplanar lines that do not intersect.. Use the parallel lines tool to visualize what parallel lines look like. Drag A and/or B to see the impact on the parallel lines.
Construct the line that is both parallel to the given line and runs through the given point using the same steps from your notes in class. When using the compass tool:
  • You must click on two points to set the measurement of your compass.
  • Then click on where you want the compass centered.
  • YOU WILL NEED TO ADD A POINTS where the compass intersects other figures
