The Dwarkadhish Temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna when he the king of the city Dwarka which is believed
to be submerged in the ocean after he left the city. Dwarkadhish Temple is located in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the most prominent landmarks in the city and is located near the banks of the Yamuna River. It is one of the famous temples for devotees.
It was built in 1814 by Seth Gokul Das who was a devotee of Lord Krishna. This temple is very beautiful with its sculpted carvings and beautiful colours. It remains a centre for spiritual activities that attract thousands of devotees every year especially when festivals like Janmashtami and Holi are celebrated.
