Euclidean Rhythms are Maximally Evenly Distributed

The red dots represent the euclidean rhythm, as generated by Bjorklund's algorithm, and shifted so that the first onset coincides with the first pulse. The green dots represent the possible positions of a maximally evenly distributed rhythm. The k-th onset of the rhythm is chosen by selecting exactly one green dot with y-coordinate equal to k (and at most one dot with a given x-coordinate).
