Triangle Inequality Theorem

Move the black sliders to your desired lengths of the line segments below. If a triangle can be formed by the given lengths the orange and blue sliders will appear. Move them to the end of the line to verify if indeed a triangle   will  be  formed (put them back to their starting position ounce done). Compare the lengths of every two line segments to the other line segment. If a green slider appear a triangle cannot be formed.  Move the green slider to the end of their respective line (put them back to their starting position ounce done). Compare the length of the two moving line segments to the other line segment. Make a conclusion about the conditions that guarantees the formation of a triangle given the lengths of its sides.
