Logarithmic Functions: Graphs

By the end of this lesson, you should discover on how to graph and interpret logarithmic functions.

We can use one cartesian coordinate system in graphing one or more logarithmic functions to generate relationships among them.

INSTRUCTIONS:

a) Use the following values, a=3, c=1, k=0, d=0. Observe the behavior of the graph. b) Change the values into a=3, c=-1, k=0, d=0. Observe the behavior of the graph. c) Change the values into a=3, c=1, k=1, d=0. Observe the behavior of the graph. Take down notes d) Change the values into a=3, c=-1, k=1, d=0. Observe the behavior of the graph. Take down notes

QUESTIONS:

1. What is the relationship of the graph of the instruction a and b?

2. What is the relationship of the graph of instruction c and d?

3. At which point that the graph of a and b intersects?

4. Why does the graph of c and d did not touch the y-axis of the coordinate plane?
