Drawing tools

You can switch between Pen, Highlighter and Eraser in the drawing tool section. After selecting a drawing tool, pick a color from the color palette and change the size by dragging the slider. Use the Select Objects tool to select and edit your objects. Note: Handwritten text is always displayed on top of objects to support writing on images and videos.

Task

Get in touch with the drawing tools and learn how to edit the style of your pen strokes using the Style Bar.

Instructions

1.Select the Pen tool and then choose a color. You can change the line thickness using the slider. Then draw something on the canvas.
2. Select your drawing using the Select Objects tool. Note: The Style Bar and the Bounding Box will appear. You may also select only a part of a pen stroke by dragging an area over the part you want to edit.
3. Change the line style and the line thickness of your drawing using the Line Style menu of the Style Bar.
4.Use the handles of the Bounding Box to change the size of the drawing and to rotate it.
5. Move the drawing on the canvas per drag and drop.
6.Select the Eraser tool and change its size using the slider in the Tool Bar. Erase some parts of your drawing.
7.Select the Highlighter tool and choose color and size. Draw something on the canvas.
8. Choose the Select Objects tool again and select any object.
9.Delete the selected object using the Delete tool of the Style Bar.
