Settings
The
Settings allow you to modify settings of objects (e. g. size, color, filling, line style, line thickness, visibility) as well as automate some object actions using Javascript or GeoGebra Script.

How to find the settings
You can open the Settings in several ways:
- Select the
Settings from the
Edit Menu in the
menu.
- Right-click (Mac OS: Ctrl-click) on an object and select
Settings from the appearing Context Menu.
- Select the
Settings button from the Style Bar.
Task
- Right-click (MacOS: Ctrl-click) the point A in the Graphics View or in the Algebra View and select
Settings from the appearing Context Menu. Explore the available tabs for points.
- Right-click (MacOS: Ctrl-click) different objects in the Graphics View or in the Algebra View and select
Settings from the appearing Context Menu. Explore the available tabs for different types of objects.
- Select several objects to change a certain setting for all of them at the same time. Hint: Hold the Ctrl-key (MacOS: Cmd-key) pressed and select all desired objects.
- Show the value of different objects and try out different label styles.
- Change the default settings of certain objects (e.g. color, style,...).
