In this activity, we will explore another postulate that we can use to prove triangles congruent with one another. You will answer these problems on a different sheet, and they will be turned in along with your assignment for grading. Below, I have given you two triangles: Triangle ABC and Triangle DEF. 1. Write down everything you notice about the two triangles. What do you notice about their sides? their angles? 2. Which two pairs of sides are congruent? 3. What is the included angle of sides AB and AC? What is the included angle of sides DE and DF? 4. Try move points B and E around so that the included angles we just mentioned will be congruent. 5. What do you notice about the triangles now?
6. Let's generalize this: 7. What can we name this generalization?
