(Optional) Activity 2.5 Drawing Polygons (using protractor and segment with a given length tool)

Your Task

Draw the polygons based on the given conditions.

Description of the Activity:

This GeoGebra applet lets you draw polygons using a protractor and a SEGMENT WITH A GIVEN LENGTH tool to create segments representing sides of the polygons. You can move or rotate the protractor by dragging the green points. In addition to the protractor, you have several tools available: a POINT tool to draw points and angle vertices, a RAY tool to draw rays, and an ERASE tool to delete draft parts of the construction.

Polygon #1

Draw a triangle with an angle of 60 degrees and two sides with equal lengths.

Polygon #2

Draw a triangle with an angle of 60 degrees and no sides with equal length.

Polygon #3

Draw a triangle with side lengths 6 cm and 8 cm.

Polygon #4

Draw a pentagon whose angles are the following measurements, , , , , .
