Copy of Experimental Probability Spinner

Below is a spinner with different colors on it. You will spin the wheel ten times and it will keep track of what color it landed on each spin Before you spin it try and predict what color(s) will occur the most.

After trying this a few times what colors see to get landed on the most?

Scroll down after answering.

Hopefully you said blue/green for the previous question. Why do those colors have a higher chance of getting landed on?

Does the probability value (bottom right) table for each color indicate the exact chance of the color getting picked?

As you can see, after spinning it a few times, the values in the table change. This is the concept of probability, the chances that the colors get selected. Blue and green have the higher chance of getting picked but there is a chance they do not.

Grab the purple circle with your mouse and give it a spin.

For our lesson were going to ignore the numbers on the spaces and just focus on the colors: red, black and green.
