Group Discussion
Have each group member present their groupings and their thinking behind the categories. (1 minute each). Then discuss and respond to the following questions.
What did your grouping have in common?
How were your groupings different?
Did some people describe similar grouping in different ways?
What geometric vocabulary was used?
If time, take a few moments to do a virtual gallery walk through the other groups. We will discuss similarities and differences as a whole class before moving on to the next activity.
