Three friends from three different cities want to meet for lunch.
You will choose three cities from the map and follow the instructions to construct the medians, altitudes and angle bisectors of the triangle.
1. Choose 3 towns. Mark each town with a point. Draw a triangle connecting the points (3 lines).
2. Medians (3 lines)
a. Mark the midpoints of each leg of the triangle, and draw the medians of the triangle.
b. Mark the point of intersection of the three medians.
3. Angle bisectors (3 more lines)
a. Draw the angle bisectors of each of the three angles.
b. Mark the point of intersection of the angle bisectors.
4. Altitudes (Just 3 more lines)
a. Draw the three altitudes of the triangle.
b. Mark the point of intersection of the altitudes.
5. Which point of intersection would make the best central meeting location?
