By the end of the geometric lesson, the students should be able to determine if a three sided figure is a triangle by applying the Triangle Inequality Theorem. Students will be guided through the activities and provided academic support. Students will have access to manipulatives, technology, GeoGebra, paper, pencils, and rulers to support their critical reasoning in regards to the geometrical concepts. MAFS.7.G.1.2 Draw (freehand, with ruler and protractor, and with technology) geometric shapes with given conditions. Focus on constructing triangles from three measures of angles or sides, noticing when the conditions determine a unique triangle, more than one triangle, or no triangle.
