Aristotle's Wheel

This animation seems to present a paradox. A green dot is placed on the outer rim of a wheel. A blue dot is placed on the inner radius of the wheel. [You can change the size of the inner radius by dragging the BLUE dot.] Run the animation - do you see the difficulty ? Do you see a problem? What questions could/would you ask your students based on this applet?
Adapted from an applet by John Golden
