Orbital trajectory of a planet and a satellite according to a star in 3D
Parameter information
- ap : semi-major axis of the orbit of the planet
- ep : orbital eccentricity of the planet
- p : ascending node of the planet's orbit
- p : orbital inclination of the planet's orbit
- p : argument of periapsis of the planet's orbit
- p : direction of rotation of the planet
- s : direction of rotation of the satellite
- as : semi-major axis of the orbit of the satellite
- es : orbital eccentricity of the satellite
- s : ascending node of the satellite's orbit
- s : orbital inclination of the satellite's orbit
- s : argument of periapsis of the satellite's orbit
- j : number of periods of the satellite for one period of the planet
- v : speed control
- t : time parameter
In this project, it is possible to visualize what the orbit would be and what displacements a planet and its satellite would have according to their star by varying different parameters, as a function of time. And all of this in three dimensions !
