Rectangles and Robots

1. Click on this definition of a rectangle. List two properties of a rectangle.

2. Move the red arrows to change the dimensions and area of the rectangle. Try out the tools in the tool bar. Use the pen tool to draw a smiley face on the rectangle.
3. Write the dimensions and the area of each rectangle. Use the pen tool.
4. Drag the points to make your own rectangles. Write down the dimensions and the area for each of your rectangles.
5. Make two different rectangles that have the same area.
6. Turn these quadrilaterals into rectangles. Use the rectangles to make a robot or a pattern.
