1. Predict & Test
  • Use the formula you learned to calculate the perimeter.
  • Test your predictions by adding squares using the slider.

2. Arrange & Move
  • How many different ways can you arrange six squares?
  • Try arranging the squares together or separately.
  • Click and drag the squares to move them into different positions.
3. Record & Reflect
  • For each arrangement, write down:
    • The shape (e.g., straight line, cluster, L-shape).
    • The perimeter of that arrangement.
  • How does changing the arrangement affect the perimeter?
  • Record your observations in your workbook.
