Aristarchus' and Eratosthenes' Earth's size
The size of the Earth was measured in antiquity by several scientists. Among them, Aristarchus' (reconstructed) value yields a smaller Earth, and Eratosthenes', a larger Earth than our best estimate. Feel free to explore how these two ancient estimates compare with each other for different values of the ancient Greek stade, and other estimates for pi, such as 3 (the smallest) and Archimedes' 22/7 (the largest), with the Egyptian fraction 25/8 as default.
