Predict Values using Rates

Description of the Applet:

This GeoGebra applet displays a line graph showing the distance traveled (in meters) by a biker over time (in minutes). A corresponding table of values is also available. You can investigate a specific duration by entering the start and end times in the INPUT BOXES. The applet will then highlight the corresponding point on the line graph and display the distance traveled during that time. Additionally, this applet allows you to practice predicting values based on rates. Based on the rate for the input duration, you can predict either the distance or the time (which can be shown using the CHECKBOXES. Type your answer in the input box, and a checkmark will appear if your answer is correct.

Your Task

Choose a specific duration (start and end time) to determine the rate. Then, using the data from the line graph and table, predict the distance traveled for two different durations and predict the duration for two different distances. Record your answers and explanations in the notes section. Additionally, use this data to answer any other questions presented below.
