Wave functions: illustrative model

Objective and steps

Did you find a relation? Any idea? Any conjecture? Confront your findings with the next illustrative model. Students work in pairs (student A and B). 1) Student A shuffles values a and b, pushing the red button. A new wave function would appear in the graphic view. 2) Student B manipulates sliders to select values A and , so the blue graphic superimposes the red one. 3) Students write down conclusions about the observed numerical and geometric relations.
