Perspectives and Views
What are perspectives?
Depending on the mathematics you want to use GeoGebra Classic for, you can select one of the default Perspectives. Each Perspective displays those Views and other user interface components most relevant for the corresponding field of mathematics.
GeoGebra Classic provides the following Perspectives for mathematical objects:
Each Perspective offers its own Toolbar that contains a selection of Tools and range of Commands as well as Predefined Functions and Operators that allow you to create dynamic constructions with different representations of mathematical objects.

How to switch between perspectives
You can switch to another Perspective at any time by selecting the Menu button in the upper right corner of the GeoGebra Classic app and selecting the Perspective you want from the Perspectives menu.
How to add views
If you want more Views displayed side by side select the Menu button in the upper right corner of the GeoGebra Classic app and choose the Views you want to add from the View menu.
Instructions
1. | | Select the Menu button in the upper right corner of the GeoGebra Classic app. |
2. | | Open the Perspectives menu. |
3. | | Select Graphing from the Perspectives menu to open the Graphing Perspective. |
4. | | Select the Menu button again. |
5. | | Open the View menu. |
6. | | Select all the Views you want to be displayed side by side. |
7. | | Get in touch with some Tools of the different Toolbars. |

Customize the Graphics View
You may customize the Graphics View by displaying coordinate axes or different kinds of grids.
1. | | Use the Style Bar button in the upper right corner of the Graphics View to open the Style Bar. |
2. | | Use the Coordinate Axes button in the Style Bar to show or hide the coordinate axes. |
3. | | Select the Grid button and choose the kind of grid you would like to display in the Graphics View. |
4. | | Use the Style Bar button again to close the Style Bar. |
Move and zoom the Graphics View
Sometimes you may want to move or zoom the Graphics View to make all created objects visible on screen.
1. | Select the Move Graphics View tool and drag the background of the Graphics View. | |
2. | | Using the Zoom In tool you can zoom into your construction and see more details. |
3. | | Using the Zoom Out tool you can zoom out of your construction and get an overview. |
4. | | Click on the Style Bar button and select Back to Default View to undo all changes to the Graphics View. |
