In the Midst of Randomness

Don't click start yet!

Here's what you need to do in a piece of paper 1. Place the tracepoint anywhere you want 2. Pick a random point (A, B, C, D, E, or F) 3. Get to that point 2/3 of the way 4. Choose another random point 5. Repeat step 3 You might wish to use a computer to perform this at some time. Let's see what happens if you do this task quickly enough. When you put the tracepoint for the first time, you should click "Clear" to remove the trace. After that, select "Slow" to reduce the pace. And then press the "Start" button. Doing those steps at this speed is probably not going to make your day. Well, let's speed it up! What pattern emerges? Isn't this perfect for making batik?
