Copy of Box and Whisker Play

When making a Box and Whisker plot, the placement of quartile bars depends on whether the number of objects in a sample list is even or odd. Play around with the lists below to get a feeling for how this works.
When does quartile 2 line up with one of the data points? ( With which datum does it align? ) Will quartile 1 ever align with a data point when quartile 3 doesn't? ( Why not? ) Under what conditions will all the quartiles align with data points? ( This example uses a maximum of 11 points. What's the next largest data set that will have all of the quartiles aligned with data points? )
