Construction Practice

Follow the instructions below to complete a construction in the space provided.

1. Create a segment AB. If it is a color other than black, adjust the color of the segment to be black. 2. Construct a circle centered around A that has radius AB. Adjust the color of this circle to be blue. 3. Construct a circle centered around B that has radius AB. Adjust the color of this circle to be blue. 4. Mark the two points where the circle centered at A and the circle centered at B intersect with each other. Mark the top point C and the bottom point D. 5. Construct line CD. If it is a color other than black, adjust the color of the line to be black. 6. Construct a circle centered around C that has radius CD. Adjust the color of this circle to be orange. 7. Construct a circle centered around D that has radius CD. Adjust the color of this circle to be orange. 8. Mark the two points where the circle centered at C and the circle centered at D intersect with each other. Mark the left point E and the right point F. 9. Construct a circle centered around E that has radius EB. Adjust the color of this circle to be purple. 10. Construct a circle centered around F that has radius FA. Adjust the color of this circle to be purple. 11. There is an intersection between the purple and orange circles in the top right, mark that point G. 12. There is an intersection between the purple and orange circles in the top left, mark that point H. 13. There is an intersection between the purple and orange circles in the bottom left, mark that point I. 14. There is an intersection between the purple and orange circles in the bottom right, mark that point J. 15. Construct line HJ. Adjust the color of this line to be pink. 16. Construct line GI. Adjust the color of this line to be pink.
